| Dr. Kamarulzaman "Dr. K" Mohamed Zin |

Chief
Executive Officer
Dr.
Kamarulzaman "Dr. K" Mohamed Zin joined
Khazanah Nasional as Director, Investment Division
in March 2008. He was later appointed as EXCO
for Silterra Malaysia Sdn Bhd on September 25th,
2008.
Prior
to Khazanah, Dr.K was the Vice President for
Technology Management at Sapura Group, a local
conglomerate with interest in ICT, Oil and Gas,
Automotive, Education and Defence. At Sapura
where he served since 1995, Dr. K was also closely
involved in planning and working committees of the
government in areas of technology acquisition and
development.
From
1993 to 1995, Dr. K was seconded to Technology Park
Corporation Malaysia (TPM) with responsibility over
establishment, deployment and management of the
Park's ICT infrastructure. From 1986 until his
secondment to TPM, Dr.K was a faculty member of
University Malaya. Dr.K is also currently Board of
Director for Silterra. Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
Dr.K
holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Imperial
College, London and is a member of IEEE.

Ankineedu Velaga |

Senior Vice President of Operation and Engineering Management
Dr. Ankineedu brings with him more than 26 years of experience in the semiconductor technology and operations management. He has vast experience in the fab start up as well as existing large corporate fabs in US and within the Asia region. His areas of expertise spans from process technology development, fab organization improvement, process and equipment engineering management, yield improvement and cost reduction.
Dr. Ankineedu started his semiconductor career at AT&T and Bell Laboratories in 1984 where he was assigned to various locations in the United States and Madrid, Spain. He continued to work at Lucent Technology, which is a spin off from AT&T and then Agere System (spin off from Lucent Technology) till September 2002 when Agere announced the exit from manufacturing and technology development. His work at Bell system includes materials development, technology development, yield improvement and fab operations.
His career continued to excel when he was appointed as Senior Director at Applied Materials, Santa Clara, California in October 2002. In year 2003, Dr. Ankineedu joined Silterra Malaysia as Vice President of Operations. During his tenure at Silterra, he was instrumental in driving the fab engineering operations and has achieved commendable accomplishment, specifically in the Silterra history of yield improvement. He focused the Engineering towards higher goals and within short time, the yields for key technologies were as good as the best in the market. Dr. Ankineedu then left for Avago Technology, Singapore in 2006 and decided to return to Silterra in April 2011.
Dr. Ankineedu earned his PhD in Chemical Engineering from University of Arkansas, USA., his M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from I.I.T, Madras, India and his B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from REC, Warangal, AP, India.

Yit Loong |

Senior Vice President of World-Wide Sales & Marketing
Lai
Yit Loong brings more than 20 years of
semiconductor experience from engineering, sales
& marketing fields. Prior to joining Silterra,
he was the Vice President of Sales & Marketing
in Nvidia, Taiwan where he was responsible for the
sales & marketing activities in South East Asia
and Oceania. He was with Intel for more than 10
years as Sales Director for South East Asia region
and he later became the Country Managing Director in
Intel China.
Mr. Lai received his B.Sc of Computer Science
from National University of Singapore.

Abdullah |

Vice President of
Corporate Development and External Affairs
Firdaus
Abdullah brings extensive international experience
in principal investments, mergers and acquisitions
(M&A), and corporate business development to
Silterra. At Silterra, his mandate covers corporate
exercises & strategy, expansion, and
developmental funding. His current focus areas
include structuring Silterra’s global foundry
outsourcing programme and implementing strategic
projects with commercial and government entities to
spur the development of Malaysia’s semiconductor
ecosystem.
Firdaus was most recently a Partner at 1st Corporate
Technologies, a London-based corporate finance house
specializing in technology M&A and investments
in Europe and the US. Previously, he was a venture
capitalist with IDG Ventures Europe and MSC Venture.
He has led and executed investment transactions in
technology companies in North America, Europe, and
Asia, and has played key roles at all stages of
company growth from formation to exit.
Prior to that, he was a Chevening Technology
Enterprise Fellow at the University of Edinburgh
where he co-founded an EDA startup and worked on
commercializing academic research in
microelectronics. Firdaus has also served at MDeC,
where he was involved in implementing national-level
strategic initiatives in the technology space.
Firdaus’s early career was as a design engineer at
Intel Corporation and at a communications chip
startup, both in California.
Firdaus earned his M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in
Electrical Engineering from Stanford University,
California, and an MBA with Distinction from Oxford
University in the United Kingdom.

Kumar Kantimahanti |

Vice
President of Technology Development
Arjun
brings with him more than 16 years of experience in
the semiconductor industry, where he held various
key engineering and management positions. Prior to
joining Silterra in 2001, Arjun was attached with
Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing, Singapore.
Arjun holds a degree in Electrical and Electronic
from Sri Venkateswara University, India and a
Master’s degree in Microelectronic Engineering
from Texas A&M, Texas, USA.

| Munawir bin Ab Ghani |

Vice President of Human Resources
Munawir
brings with him more than 20 years of diverse work
experiences and has a combination profile of
Engineering and Human Resources background. Prior to
joining Silterra, Munawir held various key positions
at various multinational companies such as Sony
Electronics, Philips and Seagate.
Munawir holds a degree in Industrial Engineering
from Texas Tech University, Texas, USA and an MBA
from Sheffield Hallam University, Sheffield, United
Kingdom

| Yushri bin Zainudin |

Vice President
of Finance & Logistics
Yushri
brings with him more than 20 years of working
experience in a multinational environment. Prior to
joining Silterra in 1998, he was attached with
Motorola Seremban.
Yushri holds a degree in Accountancy from London
South Bank University, United Kingdom and obtained
his professional qualification and a Fellowship from
the Chartered Association of Certified Accountant,
United Kingdom.

Kader
Ibrahim has more than 20 years of semiconductor
experience. He held various positions in engineering
and operations. Prior to joining Silterra in 1998,
Kader was attached with Motorola Seremban.
Kader holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from
National University of Malaysia, a master's degree
in Manufacturing System from University Putra
Malaysia and an MBA from Northern University of
Malaysia.
