SilTerra Offers Failure Analysis Services to Local High-Tech Companies and Universities
 

Kulim, Kedah, September 14, 2009 – Home-grown semiconductor wafer foundry, SilTerra Malaysia Sdn Bhd (SilTerra), officially offers in-house Failure Analysis (FA) services to local high-tech companies and universities. Silterra’s failure analysis laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art FA equipment which enables our customers to perform detailed construction and failure analysis on their products as well as university research projects.

Besides the conventional FA techniques such as SEM-EDX, RIE, Liquid Crystal, EMMI, VBA, SilTerra advanced FA techniques – like TEM, FIB, and Nano-probing – can perform sophisticated and complex product analysis in the nanometer range. Moreover, Silterra trained FA personnel apply industry recognized FA methodologies which are applicable to CMOS, LED and Thin Film technologies.
