Visit By KERC and ASTSA of Japan

On 30th January 2013 we received a delegation from the Kyushu Economic Research Centre (KERC) & Asia Semiconductor Trading Support Association (ASTA) Japan. There were 10 people from this delegation from Japan.

The request for the visit was made through MIDA and KTPC.

They were in Kulim Hi-Tech Park for a Business Seminar & Business Matching session as well as to visit several companies in the semiconductor industry, SilTerra being one of them, to explore business opportunities and partnership with Malaysian companies.

About KERC & ASTSA :

KERC was established to engage in research on the socio-economic conditions of the Kyushu region, and also to propose strategies and guidelines for Kyushu 's future development. KERC's main aims are to undertake contract research committed by the central and local governments and offer information services to member institutions and the people of Kyushu

ASTSA is an association which comprise of members from the semiconductor sectors and the objective is to help Kyushu semiconductor companies to connect with international companies by means of technology exchange and build up international alliance.
