SilTerra Malaysia, in conjunction with the Chinese New Year (CNY) festivities, visited Yong Ai Orphanage, Kulim, in the spirit of unity and social harmony during the CNY celebrations.
The initiative, which took place 2 February 2024, was part of social responsibility, undertaken for the love of our community, in efforts to ensure those in need are not left behind in celebrating the CNY.
Present at the charity program was Mr. Tahiruddin Hamdan, Senior Director of Corporate Communications as the Management representative. SilTerra contributed ang pow to the children along with non-perishable food items and basic necessities.
SilTerra is committed and will endeavour to continue with the practice of visiting nursing homes, retirement homes, charity homes and orphanages during festive seasons in a bid to strengthen care and compassion among various communities.
This is a grassroots initiative that aims to help the surrounding community as well as strengthen SilTerra’s relationship with stakeholders from various walks of life such as the local community, resident associations, local authorities and NGOs.
